COVID-19 STATEMENT: PharmaComm has been working closely with the the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industry for over a decade. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are dedicated to continuing to help medical professionals carry on their essential and life-saving work. Therefore, we have decided to temporarily suspend our normal services and–as part of the ongoing global effort to overcome medical supply shortages and dedicate ourselves to making critical medical supplies available to medical professionals and related essential workers.  We are looking to supplement brand name shortages with certified products made in China due to their ability to supply large quantities quickly.

Through its global partners, PharmaComm has been able to secure supply of safety products for front line health care workers including surgical and N95, KN95, and surgical masks and disposable gowns. We are also working on negotiating pricing and delivery times for ICU ventilators as soon as is possible.

Respirators that filter out at least 95% of airborne particles during “worse case” testing using a “most-penetrating” sized particle are given a 95 rating. A KN95 mask is an Asian-made alternative to N95. Please refer to Comparison of FFP2, KN95, and N95 and Other Filtering FacepieceRespirator Classes

A_surgical_mask_(2017)

A surgical mask, also known as a procedure mask, medical mask or simply as a face mask, is intended to be worn by health professionals during surgery and during nursing to catch the bacteria shed in liquid droplets and aerosols from the wearer’s mouth and nose. They are not designed to protect the wearer from inhaling airborne bacteria or virus particles and are less effective than respirators, such as N95,or KN95 masks, which provide better protection due to their material, shape and tight seal.
